New Delhi: India recorded 196,427 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily increase since April 14, while Covid-19 deaths increased by 3.511.

On May 25, India registered 196,427 new cases. India had 2,00,739 cases as of April 14.
It is the first time since April 14 that the number of cases has fallen below two lakh.
The number of active corona cases has dropped to 25,86,782, accounting for 9.60 per cent of all infections, while the total Covid-19 recovery rate has risen to 89.26%.
According to the data, the number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 2,40,54,861, with a death rate of 1.14 per cent.
On August 7, India’s Covid-19 tally reached 20 lakh, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5, and 50 lakh on September 16 and so on.
It reached the 60 lakh mark on September 28, the 70 lakh mark on October 11, the 80 lakh mark on October 29, the 90 lakh mark on November 20, and the one-crore mark on December 19.
India was the first country to cross the border. On May 4, there were two crore cases on that day.
On May 25, India had 3,511 deaths.
On Tuesday, 3,511 people died in the region.
About 50,000 people have died in the last 13 days in India.
India became the world’s third nation after the United States and Brazil reach the three-thousand-fatality mark due to coronavirus infections.
On Wednesday, India maintains a new record for Covid deaths with 4,529, the highest number of deaths from the virus in any country since the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.
According to The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) report that 33,25,94,176 samples were collected.
Covid-19 has tested up until May 24.
On Monday, 20,58,112 of these samples were checked.
According to the health ministry, 19,85,38,999 people have been vaccinated, with 24,40,236 receiving vaccines in the last 24 hours.
